Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using XLIED, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

XLIED is a parallel life identity system that uses AI to generate alternate life narratives, daily letters, and mirror sessions based on decision points you provide. The content generated is fictional and for personal reflection only.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on XLIED, including identities, memories, divergence points, and any text you provide. By using the service, you grant XLIED a license to process this content to provide the service to you.

4. AI-Generated Content

Letters, mirror sessions, cascade effects, and entourage interactions are generated by AI and are fictional. They should not be treated as professional advice (psychological, medical, financial, or otherwise). XLIED is designed for personal reflection, not therapy.

5. Psychological Safety

XLIED is built with psychological safety by design. However, if you experience distress while using the service, please seek professional support. The service includes safety guardrails, but they are not a substitute for professional mental health care.

6. Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use XLIED
  • One person per account — do not share your credentials

7. Prohibited Use

  • Do not use XLIED to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the AI systems
  • Do not impersonate another person's identity
  • Do not use automated systems to access the service

8. Availability

XLIED is provided “as is.” We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
